Daily Star
One of the less upmarket daily newspapers!

The Express
Popular British newspaper; and apparently the favourite read of ex-Prime Minister Joh Major

The Guardian
The UK's most left-wing newspaper, and the paper also has one of the best websites of all the newspapers.

The Independent
One of the less popular broadsheets, though with a fairly steady readership. Worth a read if you get disillusioned with the other papers.

The Mirror
Tabloid newspaper.

The Sun
Affectionately known as the Currant Bun, this is the classic British tabloid newspaper, famed for Page 3 more than serious journalism.

The Telegraph
The most read of the broadsheet newspapers in the UK, and also the most established. Decent website and worth a look.

The Times
The Times is an old broadsheet newspaper, and a popular one at that; the main rival of The Telegraph.
