One of the few building societies left, and therefore a favourite for mortgage products.

A purely online internet bank from the Prudential originally; offers good interest rates for online savings accounts.

The Co-op Bank
A basic website, but this is perhaps the bank of choice for The Guardian readers amongst you!

A famous British building society, focussed on mortgages. Now part of the Barclays Bank Group.
